SORRY!

Dear friend I hate to break this news to you but the best of us are bad. The Bible clearly teaches this. You may consider yourself a good person but that is because you compare yourself to other people. If you compare yourself honestly to what the Word of God says you will find out that you also, "...come short of the glory of God." You may say, "Well I know I'm not perfect but I'm better than most." In the eyes of men this may be true but in the EYES OF GOD you too are a sinner. It matters not whether you have broken a law once, twice or a dozen times, you are still a lawbreaker. Likewise it matters not how many times you have sinned against God in your life because you are still a sinner. Please consider what the Bible has to say about all of us.:

(Psalms 14:1-3) To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. {2} The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God. {3} They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

(Psalms 53:1-3) To the chief Musician upon Mahalath, Maschil, A Psalm of David. The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good. {2} God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God. {3} Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

(Ecclesiastes 7:20) For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.

(Isaiah 64:6) But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

(Isaiah 53:1-6) Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed? {2} For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. {3} He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. {4} Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. {5} But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. {6} All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

(Romans 3:10-12) As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: {11} There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. {12} They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

(Romans 3:23) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
